L'IEMAC est un établissement d'enseignement supérieur et de recherche dédié aux enjeux contemporains du monde africain. Il offre des cours universitaires disponibles sur internet et en personne, conçus pour les apprenants africains et les individus d'origine africaine dans le monde.
L'IEMAC a pour objectif d'autonomiser les Africains et leurs descendants en fournissant une compréhension détaillée issue de l'exploration et de la mise en valeur du monde africain souverain via le domaine de la Coafrwologie. En alliant tradition et modernité, l'institut se positionne en tant qu'acteur clé pour promouvoir une perspective panafricaine éclairée basée sur des recherches strictes et une démarche universitaire innovante. Le but est d'aider à résoudre les problèmes concernant la situation existentielle des Africains et de leurs descendants dans le monde.
L'IEMAC offre des formations liées aux travaux sur le terrain, aux explorations, aux sorties et aux visites immersives de sites, communautés et États du monde africain contemporain (COAFRWO). Ces actions ont pour objectif de favoriser des échanges d'apprentissage dynamiques entre les Africains et leurs descendants dans le monde entier, tout en contribuant activement à la transformation du monde africain actuel dans un angle panafricain.
